PAULINE DOUTRELUINGNE works as a curator and filmmaker based in Berlin and has been the artistic director of Kunstverein Arnsberg since 2022. She is leading the MA program Spatial Strategies at Weissensee School of Art together with Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung. She brings an ecological perspective to the MA Spatial Strategies, zooming in on the topic of how we deal artistically and ecologically with changing ecologies. She addresses the issue of ecological contemporary artistic praxis, and opens the field of vision, towards a more-then-human understanding of our world. Her focus is on paradigm shifts in visual art and exhibition practice, reflecting on the importance of coexistence, symbiosis and cohabitation.

Her films (in collaboration with artist Anne Duk Hee Jordan) have been shown worldwide, recently in ZKM Karlsruhe (2024), Transmediale, Linz (2023), 1,5 Grad at Kunsthalle Mannheim (2023), Goethe Institute Stockholm (2023) & Goethe Institute Luanda (2024).
